If you’ve ever been to Starbucks or the library, then you’ve connected to public WiFi. But, are you aware of all the dangers of this connection?

When it comes to using public WiFi, it’s not uncommon for hackers to set up a fake clone which actually gets you to connect to their WiFi. Before you connect, verify the name of the WiFi with an employee at the store or location. Once connected, never access sensitive data like medical information OR enter your credit card information in online unless you’re 100% sure the WiFi is secure and safe.
