Do You Know What to Do With Your Old Computers?

Stop, don’t just throw out your old laptop, desktop or server. Parts in your computer may be hazardous to the environment. You’ll want to check with your local recycling facility. On top of that, you have tons of company information on your devices.

Here’s What You Can Do:

  • Remove all company data including the hard drive. You can destroy the hard drive with a hammer or drill. OR you can find a company that will handle this for you.
  • Find a local e-waste recycling facility.

Don’t Forget: If any other devices like smartphones or copiers have any information on it, then you’ll also want to remove that data.
