Here’s a Sneaky Trick:

Have You Ever Misspelled a URL and Ended Up at a Different Website? This Could Be Bad!

Hackers will purposely try to trick you by setting up fraudulent websites that have a close misspelling of a legitimate one. Example: www.faceboook.com instead of www.facebook.com.

Here’s What You Need to Do:

More than likely you’ve accidentally fat-fingered one letter when typing in a common URL. Sometimes, it’ll direct you to a legitimate looking site that will ask for your login information. Whatever you do, DON’T put in your information. In an effort to reduce this from happening, bookmark your most visited websites.
